Presentation of the Trieste Flute Festival 2026
A year of music, connections, and new initiatives
“We are a group of musicians. Our aim is to promote knowledge, study and the repertoire of the flute. We do so with the professionalism of an orchestra and the organisational structure of an association; the Artistic Director of the Festival is Maestro Ettore Michelazzi, whilst the Artistic Director of the Trieste Flute Ensemble and all associated groups is Maestro Alessandro Vigolo.”
Trieste Flute Ensemble
The Trieste Flute Ensemble is an orchestra of flutes only. It has been active since 2005, and it is one of the first professional Flute Ensembles in Europe.
Trieste Flute Association
The association was founded in 2009 with the aim of making the flute better known by organising concerts, musical events, courses, exchanges and cultural initiatives.
Our Founding Partner
Our Founding Partner and Artistic Director is Maestro Giorgio Blasco, a well-known flautist and musician from Trieste, as well as a teacher, book author and composer.
